Make sure you check out our calendar for other upcoming spring time gigs.
It’s not even spring yet but it totally is–I love it! We’ve been using the end of winter (and the nice weather) to write new music, rehearse, and play some fantastic gigs. Our video for Walk Through The Door feat. Beres Hammond recently hit the 5000 view mark after only 2 months of exposure. We are grateful for our wonderful fan following and to everyone who watched it at least 12 times.
To keep the ball rolling, we have been setting up new dates and filling some festival slots. Our next gig is March 23rd at Bunker’s downtown Minneapolis. We are going to play a great set and introduce some new things to everyone in the audience. We are going to make this Friday’s show a worthwhile start to the weekend for anyone who comes to see us!
Keep your eyes peeled as we plan to make some bigger announcements soon and throughout the next 6 months!
This past December, Dax, David and Steve went to Jamaica together to capture some footage and make music with the great Beres Hammond. Little did we know the wonderful relationship that would be created and all the fun we’d have together–not to mention all the amazing footage we’d capture along the way. We had a wonderful time and ate lots of delicious jerk chicken. We got a lot of work done and made some lasting impressions (I hope!). As far as our friendships–I think the footage everyone will see speaks for itself.
The footage we captured in Jamaica is part of our first official video, which will be for “Walk Through The Door (feat. Beres Hammond)”. This video will be released NEXT week on Wednesday, January 18th! We’ve created a trailer for all our fans to feast on in anticipation (view below). Help us spread the word! Tell everyone! Get excited–we are so pumped to share this with you next week!
Lastly, I want to note that we’ve canceled our Jan 13 and Jan 27 shows, however, we still have plenty of shows coming up, including this Saturday Jan 14 at the Studio B in Skyway Theater (above Barfly, downtown Minneapolis). See you there!
After several months of holding back, we have released a new remix of “Walk Through the Door” with famed Jamaican great Beres Hammond. It’s available on iTunes. Grab your copy now. The new remix is now playing on regular rotation on SiriusXM radio! You can hear it on The Joint, channel 42. And don’t hesitate to write them, giving us good feedback–that will help us so much!
In celebration of our remix, we are playing a huge show at the Fine Line downtown Minneapolis on November 5th. The show is also a release party for the main act, Culture Cry Wolf. This is one of the biggest shows we’ve ever booked–any fan will not want to miss it! Pre-sale tickets are available from us for $8–you can email us if you want some. The price jumps to $10 at the door. This is a MUST SEE SHOW!
Other good news–we have a few new reviews in for Gravity in Love–both terrific. Check them out here and here. We hope to be getting more in soon. Have you picked up your copy of the album? See everyone at the Fine Line show!!!
I know I’m always saying that there are lots of little things happening behind the scenes, under the sheets, but honestly, there really are–especially now.
We’ve posted some of our upcoming shows, but we are still booking more, or some aren’t listed yet. For instance, we are the musical entertainment at the Twin Cities Film Festival this year.Update: That show has been cancelled. Sorry everyone, it was out of our hands–we did everything we could. We also have a show at the Apple Store Uptown scheduled. All dates will be listed here in the coming days.
On another front, we have media things taking place. Videos being worked on, song ideas being mulled over, and a big surprise down the road. The only thing I will say right now is none of us really have any idea how big it will be. But that’s half the fun right?
We can’t wait to play some more shows with you this fall, especially (David’s favorite holiday) the Halloween party at Bayside! First we have to close out the summer in good form. Help us do it at Bunkers in Minneapolis. See ya there!
